Declarations of Payment and Support

Grünenthal Ltd. is a committed member of the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI). As such we adhere to the requirements of the ABPI Code of Practice in the conduct of our business. As part of this commitment, we declare annually all payments made to UK healthcare professionals (HCPs) by the UK organisation and our affiliate companies overseas. In addition we provide transparency on our interactions with, and support of patient organisations, and any grants and donations we provide to institutes and organisations. The figures below do not include payments made to HCPs for research and development or market research when the participant is unknown to Grünenthal. These payments are disclosed on an aggregate basis on the central ABPI portal detailed below. Grünenthal does not support individual HCPs to attend third party scientific meetings and medical congresses.

Further information on the requirements of the ABPI Code of Practice and its enforcement can be accessed from the Prescription Medicines Code of Practice Authority’s website: www.pmcpa.org.uk. The ABPI have also produced a leaflet regarding the public declaration of payments made to HCPs which can be downloaded from the website.

As per the ABPI Code of Practice, all transfers of value to UK HCPs and HCOs (including those provided as grants or donations) made in 2015 and subsequent years are to be disclosed on a central ABPI portal. The portal can be accessed using this web address: www.disclosureuk.org.uk. The content will be updated by 1st July each year for data from the preceding year. Support provided to patient organisations and other organisations in our local community will continue to be disclosed below.
